Storyboard

My concept for my mid-term proposal is, I believe, simple but ingenious. It consist of creating a flash application (.swf) that generates audio and visual content everytime the user type a letter on the keyboard. The purpose being that the user can benefit of relaxing sounds while typing an homework or chatting with friends.

I’m still not sure if the sounds should be played one over the other or one after the other. The 1^st option creates synchronism but also chaos, while the 2^nd option will keep playing music even after the user stopped typing, but the resulting sound should be more soothing

Sounds Examples

rain drops, waterfalls, river, camp fire, shims, harp, footsteps on different types of grounds, wind, wood cracks, grand-father clock, church bells, etc

Visual Aspect

The visual aspect is secondary, I might not even be able to finish it. My 1^st idea consist of representing every letter with abstract visuals displayed randomly on the screen. My 2^nd idea is the simply reproduces the keyboard layout on the screen & animate the keys every time one of them is pressed.

Graphics can also be turn on/off.

My work loaded over the rest of the page, it did not stay in the frame it was supposed to show in ...
